The circulating bentonite slurry serves the purpose of removing drilled cuttings by transporting them to the surface. This mixture of bentonite also generates hydraulic pressure, thereby preventing the collapse of excavation walls, even when operating below the water table. Additionally, bentonite slurry functions as a lubricant for drilling tools, enhancing operational efficiency.
